During the refurbishment of the building we decided to upgrade to thermally efficient windows. We have nesting boxes for birds in our roof and the whole building is insulated with wood fibre insulation – and we have solar panels on the roof.

We endeavour to work with local vendors and businesses where we can to support small, independent businesses and reduce carbon emissions from long-haul deliveries.

Here are three things you can do during your stay to help look after the planet:

Use the recycling bins provided in reception
Have shorter showers
Refill your water bottles and use reusable coffee cups
