Guest Policy

1. General Information

By making a reservation at The Bristol Wing, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check for any changes regularly.

2. Booking and Reservation

  • Reservations must be made through our website, authorised booking platforms, or in person.
  • A valid credit or debit card is required to confirm your reservation. Full payment may be requested at the time of booking or upon check-in, depending on the booking method.
  • For group bookings (more than 6 people), special terms and conditions may apply, including deposit requirements.
  • Confirmation of your reservation will be sent via email once processed.
  • Short Stay Policy 
    • The Bristol Wing is a short-stay only accommodation.
    • To ensure fair access to all guests, we have a maximum stay limit of 10 nights per calendar month per guest.
    • If a booking exceeds this limit, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the reservation at our discretion.
    • By making a booking with us, guests agree to adhere to this policy. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of current and future reservations.
  1. Check-In and Check-Out
  • Check-in time: 3PM, GMT
  • Check-out time: 11AM, GMT
  • Guests arriving before the designated check-in time may store their luggage at the reception (subject to availability).
  1. Age Restrictions
  • Our hostel is designed for travellers of all ages. However, we have specific age restrictions for certain rooms or dormitories. Please check with us before booking.
  • Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian who is at least 18 years old.
  1. Payment and Cancellation Policy
  • Payment: Payment can be made by credit card, or debit card. We accept major credit/debit cards.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the check-in date will receive a full refund (excluding any processing fees).
    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to check-in will incur a charge equal to your stay within the 48 hour period.
    • No-shows will be charged for the entire reservation.
  • If The Bristol Wing needs to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you an alternative accommodation or a full refund.
  1. House Rules
  • Quiet Hours: The Bristol Wing promotes a quiet and relaxed atmosphere for all guests. Quiet hours are enforced from 11PM to 7AM.
  • Alcohol and Drugs: Alcohol consumption is permitted in designated areas only. The use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
  • Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the hostel. Designated smoking areas are available outside. This includes the use of E-cigarettes and vapes.
  • Behaviour: Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards others. Abusive behaviour, discrimination, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Violators may be asked to leave the property without a refund.
  • Cleanliness: Guests must clean up after themselves in shared areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, and dormitories.
  1. Liability and Insurance
  • The Bristol Wing is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Guests are encouraged to secure valuables in personal lockers provided at the hostel.
  • It is strongly recommended that guests obtain personal travel insurance that covers theft, loss, and medical emergencies during their stay.
  1. Security
  • A valid photo ID (passport, driver’s license, etc.) is required at check-in for all guests.
  • Dormitory beds and private rooms are assigned based on availability and may change during your stay. Locks and lockers are provided for your security.
  • Guests should secure their belongings at all times. The hostel is not responsible for any loss or theft.
  1. Special Requests and Accessibility
  • Please notify us of any special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions, accessibility needs) at the time of booking, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • The Bristol Wing is not fully accessible for guests with mobility impairments. Please inquire directly if you require specific accommodations.
  1. Pets
  • Pets are not allowed at the hostel, except for service animals. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need accommodations for a service animal.
  1. Parking

Unfortunately, we do not have parking at The Bristol Wing. However, there are plenty of local car parks in Bristol with varying charges. The nearest car parks are:

  1. Photography and Media
  • By staying at The Bristol Wing, you agree to allow us to use photos or videos taken during your stay for promotional purposes, unless you opt-out in writing at check-in.
  1. Complaints and Feedback
  • If you experience any issues or have concerns during your stay, please inform our reception staff immediately so that we can resolve the matter. We strive to ensure all guests have a pleasant stay.
  1. Force Majeure
  • The Bristol Wing will not be held responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling these Terms and Conditions due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, or labour disputes.
